Last.fm is coming to Xbox Live, but how much will it cost?
When it’s released (No dates yet) Silver members will get a free 3 month trial, and Gold members will get it free. BUT, it will feature those annoying video ads. If you want to get rid of them, you’ll be paying a subscription. No prices are certain yet, but Last.fm subscriptions currently cost only $3 a month, so hopefully it will be the same on Xbox Live.

Anyone still using the Windows 7 Beta? I wouldn’t be surprised if plenty of people are, its a very polished off system. Anyway, the beta has a great way to stop it from being used after its expiry date, it shuts down, every two hours, it just shuts down, an ingenious way to get people to stop using it, don’t you think? I sure as hell cant use it anymore, it drives me nuts.

This is fun. Gickr is a website that allows you to upload up to 10 pictures, and it automatically turns them into a single GIF animation file. You can choose the speed and order in which they GIF plays, along with the size of it.
Give it a try, its fun.
Myles isn’t actually a Frenchman, but he does approve.

Rumours have been floating around the internet lately regarding an AppStore on PSN, specifically for the upcoming PSP Go. An AppStore would definitely increase the number of people who’d want one.
Rumour also has it that the PSP AppStore will be announced at Gamescom in Cologne this August.
While Sony haven’t confirmed this, they’re not denying it. And usually when they don’t deny it, its true. There’s one more bit of incentive to buy a PSP Go when it comes out.

Luis von Ahn, the inverter of the dreed capchta talks about reCapchta and the very good idea behind the project. The idea is behind it is to digitize books that OCR can’t convert. The project takes one word that it knows and puts it together with a word it can’t recognize in a image. This image makes up the captcha which is then shown to a user on a website. The user types in what they see and summits the typed words. To confirm the user is human it checks the word it knows. If the word it knows is correct, it assumes that unknown word is correct and adds it to a database. It shows the unknown word to other users in a capchta, to confirm that it is indeed right. Take the image below:

The PSP Go doesn’t feature a UMD drive, therefore, all its games will be stored on its 16GB internal flash memory.
Sony announced that each full PSP game will average at around 700MB. They also say the PSP Go that can hold an “average of 17-18 games.” Of course this is a pretty big variable since PSP games can Vary between 400MB and over 1GB. I dont own a PSP (Anymore) so I’m not an expert on the size of other PSP media, but 18 games per 16GB sounds reasonable, especially since the PSP Go Supports M2 memory cards that have a current capacity of 16GB, which could easily double the PSP’s storage space.

The Tegra is designed to be able to handle HD Video packed into something as small as the ZuneHD. What does this mean? It means it that videos wont drain the battery in the ZuneHD, plus it will play videos in better quality.
Now all Microsoft need to do is launch it outside North America, and I’m baught.

Finally, a celebrity that doesnt like the Wii. Speaking to Big Download he said:
BIG DL:Have you checked out the Wii Transformers game?
LABEOUF: I haven’t been able to play the Wii game because my hand is broken. I’ve just been playing Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. I would imagine that the Wii experience will be like…I don’t mess with the Wii, to be honest with you. It’s kind of an amateur console. I’m not into the Wii thing.
BIG DL: What’s wrong with the Wii?
LABEOUF: This is how in a simple way you can find out if it’s a gamer you want to play with. Ask them if they have a Wii. If they say yes, get the f*** out of there.
He also remarked that “Who wants to play the Wii version of LEGO Star Wars. I’d rather eat glass.” Which dissapoints me as its one of the few Wii games I love.
