Dell To Sell Its Computer Factories

Dell is to sell its computer factories with in the next year and a half in a effort to cut costs. Dell wants to enter into contracts with PC manufacturers instead. The company is looking to Asian companies who want a larger slice of the PC market. There could be difficulty selling factories where labour is high like the US and Ireland. The market has changed, Dell factories we designed around mass production for business users. Last week Dell reported that profits where down which sent there shares down more than 18%.
